Senior Accountant
Job Location : Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates
Key Responsibilities :
• Oversee daily accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Prepare financial statements, cash flow reports, and monthly management accounts.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT and corporate tax regulations.
• Track project budgets, costs, expenses, and profitability.
• Manage supplier payments, customer collections, and bank reconciliations.
• Coordinate with external auditors and maintain accurate financial documentation.
• Support financial planning, budgeting, and management reporting.
Requirements & Qualifications :
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 4–5 years of relevant accounting experience in the UAE.
• Previous experience in interior fit-out, construction, or contracting is preferred.
• Good understanding of UAE VAT and corporate tax requirements.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Practical knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and project costing.
