Possible qualifications and experience:
• Relevant vocational training or hands-on fabrication experience.
• Experience making flexible insulation jackets or removable insulation covers, preferably for industrial equipment and piping.
• Knowledge of measuring, cutting, sewing or fastening methods, and suitable jacket materials.
Typical responsibilities:
• Measure equipment and piping to prepare flexible insulation jackets.
• Fabricate covers according to required dimensions and specifications.
• Check fit, finish, fastening arrangements, and workmanship.
• Coordinate with insulation teams to ensure proper installation.
