Job Location : Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Key Responsibilities :
• Provide professional midwifery care before, during, and after childbirth
• Educate and counsel expectant mothers on pregnancy, childbirth, and newborn care
• Provide immediate newborn care and support post-delivery procedures
• Monitor fetal development and identify potential complications
• Assist with labor and delivery procedures while prioritizing patient safety
• Promote maternal mental health and emotional well-being
• Maintain accurate patient records and follow healthcare standards and protocols
• Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and healthcare teams to deliver quality maternity care
Requirements :
• Bachelor’s Degree in Midwifery or Nursing with a Midwifery specialization
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a UAE Labor & Delivery Unit
• Strong knowledge of maternity care practices and newborn care
• Excellent communication and patient-counseling skills
• Ability to provide compassionate care to mothers and families
• Western qualification is an advantage
• Experience assisting with water births is an advantage
• Strong knowledge of labor and delivery procedures, newborn care, maternal support, patient education, and maternity healthcare practices
