QA/QC Engineer
Job Location : Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Responsibilities:
• Implement and monitor the Project Quality Management Plan (PQMP) at site level in line with ISO 9001 and consultant requirements
• Review contractor Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, and material submittals for compliance
• Conduct daily quality inspections and surveillance across construction stages (substructure, superstructure, façade, MEP, finishing)
• Raise and track Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) through to closure
• Witness and verify material testing, ensuring compliance with approved specifications and relevant authority codes
• Attend and support quality review meetings with contractors and client representatives
• Maintain quality records, inspection registers, and test certificates
• Carry out concrete pour checks, rebar inspections, and structural quality checkpoints critical to high-rise builds
• Coordinate with third-party testing laboratories for sampling and test results
• Support snagging, de-snagging, and DLP (Defects Liability Period) quality processes
• Ensure site activities comply with Trakhees/DM/DCD and other applicable UAE regulatory requirements
• Report quality status and issues to the QA/QC Manager
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory)
• Minimum 5–8 years of QA/QC experience
• Experience working within a consultancy or supervision firm (not solely contractor-side)
• Demonstrated experience on high-rise tower construction projects in the UAE (mandatory)
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 QMS standards and UAE construction codes
• Familiarity with quality documentation systems (Aconex, ACC, or similar)
