Position: Fleet Maintenance Supervisor
Location: Dubai
JOB PURPOSE:
Under the direct supervision of the Fleet Maintenance Manager, this role is responsible for leading the maintenance and repair activities of the ready-mix fleet, including truck mixers, concrete pumps, mobile equipment and on-site equipment. This role is key to ensuring that all assets are maintained to the highest order, ensuring safety, compliance and operational efficiency. The role includes leading workshop teams, planning preventative maintenance schedules, strict cost controls and budgeting whilst ensuring operational continuity by minimizing breakdowns, ensuring the adherence to high safety requirements and ensuring all standards are aligned with our target of zero4life.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
• Fleet Reliability: Maximize availability and uptime of truck mixers, pumps and support vehicles.
• Maintenance: Drive preventative/predictive maintenance to reduce breakdowns and extend asset life.
• Leadership: Lead and develop workshop teams, ensuring performance, accountability and technical competence.
• Safety: Enforce ZERO4LIFE, LOTOTO, permit-to-work and safe workshop standards.
• Cost Control: Manage maintenance, labour, parts and external service costs.
• Breakdowns: Ensure rapid response and RCA to prevent recurrence.
• Compliance: Maintain UAE/RTA vehicle, inspection and environmental compliance.
• Operations: Coordinate maintenance programs with production and delivery requirements.
• Procedures: Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and applicable H&S procedures.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education / Professional Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering / Automobile Engineering
• 4-6 years working experience in maintaining a wide range of heavy equipment/vehicles/machineries, material handling equipment and fabrication.
Job Specific Competencies /Operational Knowledge:
• Strong technical knowledge of truck mixers, heavy/mobile and earthmoving equipment, pumps, generators, compressors and workshop machinery.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in maintenance, servicing and repair of heavy vehicles, machinery, material-handling equipment and fabrication works.
• Good understanding of ready-mix concrete operations and their impact on fleet performance and maintenance.
• Strong customer and operational focus, ensuring maintenance supports business requirements.
• Sound knowledge of UAE RTA regulations, fleet compliance, road safety and HSE requirements.
