Senior Planning Engineer (Civil)
Job Location : Dubai, UAE
Key Responsibilities :
• Develop, maintain, and update project schedules using Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
• Prepare baseline schedules, work breakdown structures (WBS), and project execution plans.
• Monitor project progress and compare actual performance against planned schedules.
• Analyze delays and prepare recovery schedules to mitigate project risks.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards, and management presentations.
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, procurement, and subcontractors to ensure schedule compliance.
• Perform critical path analysis and identify potential schedule impacts.
• Forecast manpower, equipment, and material requirements based on project timelines.
• Support project budgeting, cost control, and earned value analysis (EVA).
• Review contractor and subcontractor schedules for compliance with contract requirements.
• Participate in project meetings and provide planning updates to stakeholders.
• Maintain project documentation, records, and planning databases.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, contractual obligations, and project quality standards.
• Assist in claims preparation, extension of time (EOT) analysis, and delay assessments when required.
Qualifications :
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• 8–15 years of experience in planning and scheduling civil construction projects.
• Experience in high-rise buildings, infrastructure, industrial, or EPC projects is preferred.
• PMP certification is an advantage.
