š Qualifications and Requirements
š¹ No prior experience is required, and the opportunity is available to recent graduates.
š¹ A professional certification in safety such as OSHA or NEBOSH is required.
š¹ Good knowledge of the basics of occupational health and safety and risk prevention procedures.
š¹ Familiarity with the principles of risk assessment and identification of unsafe practices and situations.
š¹ Knowledge of PPE, emergency procedures, and workplace safety.
š¹ Good communication, mentoring, and reporting skills.
š¹ Ability to work in the field and adhere to safety instructions and procedures.
š¹ Seriousness, discipline, and a desire to learn and professional development.
š Tasks and Responsibilities
š¹ Assist in the implementation and follow-up of health, safety and environmental policies and procedures in the workplace.
š¹ Conducting periodic inspection tours and monitoring hazards and unsafe situations.
š¹ Monitoring employees' compliance with the use of PPE and safe work procedures.
š¹ Participate in the preparation and follow-up of risk assessments.
š¹ Ensure the readiness of safety, emergency and firefighting equipment.
š¹ Record and document safety observations and prepare periodic reports.
š¹ Follow-up on the implementation of corrective actions for recorded observations and risks.
š¹ Participate in the investigation and documentation of accidents and cases close to the occurrence.
š¹ Provide basic safety awareness and guidelines to employees.
š¹ Contributing to the promotion of a culture of safety and the prevention of accidents and injuries in the work environment.
