Location: Yanbu, Saudi Arabia
JOB DESCRIPTION:
1. To ensure HSE policies and procedures compliance (Permit to Work, Environment Management Systems, OSHAS etc.) in the shift. To perform housekeeping of the plant. In case of any emergency in the plant, act as ERT as per Company Emergency Response Procedure. Participate in plant drills and the annual ERT training as per company HSEF training/program. To perform Atmospheric Gas Testing.
2. To participate in annual departmental Safety Program. Fill safety audit checklists in his area as per schedule to meet the safety objectives. 3. Monitor the operations of the plant in the field with the help of the Boardman and Shift Supervisor. To report any abnormality in field to his Shift Supervisor. To Carrying out all field activities in case of :
• Normal Plant Operation.
• Start up and shut down.
• Plant emergencies.
4. Responsible for logging field parameters, collecting & sending samples to laboratory as per schedule and sending extra samples as instructed by Shift Supervisor. To prepare equipment for safe handing over to and taking over from maintenance department. To monitor and operate equipment such as fired heaters, compressors, Blowers, Fans, pumps, valves and dewatering equipment's etc.
5. To ensure adequacy of stock of the chemicals required for the day. Performs periodical physical materials inventories verification, as per guidelines and checklist.
6. To adjust or alter plant processes as required, respond to and control accidental releases of hazardous liquids and gases, perform confined spare entries as required, and haul material on plant premises. To perform daily and weekly field analysis, oil, grease, and clean equipment and maintain records and thus ensure plant on-stream.
7. To work extended hours as requested by the Department (in case of no reliever, start up, shut down, leave coverage etc.). To perform shift handover as per company guidelines.
Framework, boundaries, problems & decision-making responsibility:
The job holder will be responsible for:
• Assigned area in PDH Plants like Reactor & Heaters, CCR & NaHS, Compressor, Cold Box, Driers Boilers, fractionation or combined areas.
QUALIFICATION: Technical Grade with one year on job training.
EXPERIENCE: 3-4 years' experience in a PDH plant UOP Oleflex or LUMMUS Catofin Technology.
SKILLS: Conversant with HSE aspects of the petrochemical plants.
