Quantity Surveyor
Job Location : Dubai, UAE
Key Responsibilities:
• Review BOQs, drawings & specifications — identify discrepancies, ambiguities & VE opportunities.
• Conduct in-depth cost analysis of materials, labour, plant & subcontractors against UAE market rates.
• Negotiate with subcontractors & suppliers for specialist civil trades.
• Assess & quantify commercial risks with clear mitigation strategies.
• Manage interim valuations, payment applications, VOs & claims (EOT, disruption) to final account.
• Monitor project cash flow and budgets; flag overruns with corrective recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with UAE contract law, FIDIC principles & RTA guidelines.
• Drive value engineering solutions pre- and post-contract.
Requirements:
• Proven UAE civil infrastructure QS experience.
• Strong knowledge of RTA & utility authority commercial requirements.
• Solid FIDIC contract knowledge and claims management experience.
• Sharp commercial acumen with a track record of margin protection.
• Meticulous documentation and audit-ready commercial records.
