Responsibilities:
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on fire and gas detection systems, alarms, and suppression equipment across the site.
- Install and commission fire detection, gas monitoring, and firefighting systems in line with project and site-specific requirements.
- Perform functional testing, calibration, and loop checks of detectors, panels, and suppression systems.
- Diagnose and repair faults in fire and gas systems to ensure operational reliability.
- Ensure systems meet NFPA, IEC, and Qatar Energy site standards.
- Maintain inspection records, calibration logs, and maintenance reports.
- Adhere to Site HSE standards, PPE requirements, and permit-to-work systems during all activities.
Requirements
- Qualification: Diploma/Certificate in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Fire Safety Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in fire and gas detection systems, preferably within oil & gas or petrochemical facilities.
