SR. APPLICATION SERVER SPECIALIST
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Application Server Specialist responsible for the provisioning, configuration, operation, and maintenance of the IT middle-tier layer, ensuring application servers perform effectively, efficiently, and reliably.
QUALIFICATIONS and SKILLS:
1. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent.
2. Minimum 3 years of experience in IT preferably in a related field in Enterprise Application Integration, Development, Web Server or middleware support and administration.
3. AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification is highly preferred, along with hands-on experience in setting up, maintaining, and monitoring applications on AWS.
4. Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) and Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) certification is preferred.
5. Work closely with development and infrastructure teams to optimise application server performance and reliability.
6. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
7. Ability to support 24/7 production systems and participate in on-call rotations when required.
