Hiring Procurement Assistant (Qatar)
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Assistant to join our team.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Receive and process purchase requests from departments.
* Obtain quotations from suppliers and prepare price comparisons.
* Assist in preparing and issuing purchase orders.
* Follow up with suppliers on orders and delivery schedules.
* Coordinate with stores and departments to ensure timely supply of materials.
* Maintain procurement records, quotations, and supplier information.
* Verify supplier invoices against purchase orders and delivery notes.
* Assist in monitoring inventory levels and stock requirements.
* Conduct basic market research to identify suppliers and competitive prices.
* Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures.
* Prepare procurement reports and update purchasing records.
Required Skills
* Basic knowledge of procurement and purchasing procedures.
* Good communication and negotiation skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
* Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
Requirements:
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field.
Previous experience in procurement or purchasing is preferred.
