Customer Service Executive – Freight Forwarding
Job Location : Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates
Key Responsibilities :
• Manage end‑to‑end shipment coordination and maintain regular communication with customers.
• Handle import and export documentation accurately and efficiently.
• Provide timely shipment updates and status reports to clients.
• Coordinate with carriers, overseas agents, customs authorities, and internal teams.
• Resolve shipment‑related inquiries, delays, and escalations in a professional manner.
• Ensure compliance with freight forwarding procedures and documentation requirements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
• Monitor shipment progress and proactively address operational issues.
Requirements :
• 2–3 years of customer service experience within the freight forwarding or logistics industry in Abu Dhabi.
• Practical experience with air, sea, and/or land freight operations.
• Strong understanding of shipment documentation, tracking, and logistics coordination.
• Knowledge of customs clearance procedures and UAE trade regulations.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple shipments and prioritise tasks under pressure.
• Proficiency in freight management systems.
• Strong knowledge of E‑Freight Suite and freight management platforms, import/export documentation and shipment processes, customs regulations, clearance procedures, and logistics coordination.
