Job Summary
The 3D Designer is responsible for creating detailed 3D models, layouts, and technical drawings for commercial kitchen equipment and complete kitchen setups. The role involves close coordination with sales, engineering, and production teams to ensure designs are practical, visually appealing, and manufacturable.
Key Responsibilities
Develop 3D models of kitchen equipment (e.g., counters, cabinets, hoods, refrigeration units).
Prepare detailed shop drawings and fabrication drawings for production.
Create complete commercial kitchen layouts based on client requirements and project specifications.
Convert 2D drawings into accurate 3D visualizations and renderings.
Coordinate with sales and project teams to understand client needs and design concepts.
Ensure designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and space optimization.
Revise designs based on feedback from clients, engineers, and production teams.
Generate BOM (Bill of Materials) and assist in cost estimation.
Ensure all drawings are updated, documented, and properly stored.
Support production team with technical clarifications when required.
Required Qualifications
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or related field.
2–5 years of experience in 3D design, preferably in kitchen equipment or sheet metal industry.
Proficiency in 3D design software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools.
