Site Manager – Electrical
Key Responsibilities
Manage electrical and civil construction activities for substation and power infrastructure projects.
Supervise installation of electrical systems, power cables, and associated infrastructure.
Coordinate with project managers, consultants, contractors, and utility authorities to ensure compliance with project specifications.
Monitor site progress, ensure adherence to project schedules, and maintain quality standards.
Oversee procurement coordination, material management, and logistics support for project operations.
Ensure all project documentation, quality checks, and inspections meet regulatory and engineering standards.
Maintain safety compliance and enforce operational procedures across construction and installation activities.
Provide technical guidance to site engineers, supervisors, and field teams during project execution.
Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline depending on the role.
Relevant certifications in construction management, project management, or quality assurance may be advantageous.
Experience in substation construction, power infrastructure projects, electrical installations, or utility engineering is strongly preferred.
Candidates with approvals from ETIHADWE or FEWA will receive preference.
Strong knowledge of power distribution systems, cable installation, substation equipment, and infrastructure construction.
Ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and manage site operations efficiently.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills required for supervisory and managerial roles.
Immediate joiners or candidates with short notice periods are preferred.
