Davidson Management Consultants have been mandated to recruit a Consultant Maternal Fetal Medicine for their client in Abu Dhabi, UAE which is a leading multispecialty hospital. We are looking for Tier 1 Fellowship trained Consultant Maternal Fetal Medicine specialists with Western qualifications such as ABMS (USA), CCT/CCST (UK), RCPSC (Canada), FRANZCOG (Australia & New Zealand) or equivalent Tier 1 credentials recognized by the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi.
The Consultant Maternal Fetal Medicine will be responsible for providing comprehensive high-risk obstetric care, including antenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum management of complex maternal and fetal conditions. Conduct advanced fetal assessments including detailed anomaly scans, fetal echocardiography, Doppler studies, cervical length assessments, and invasive diagnostic procedures such as amniocentesis and chorionic villus sampling. Manage pregnancies complicated by maternal medical disorders, multiple gestations, fetal growth restriction, preterm labor, hypertensive disorders, diabetes, and congenital anomalies.Develop and implement evidence-based care pathways and clinical protocols aligned with international standards. Provide multidisciplinary coordination with neonatology, anesthesia, genetics, endocrinology, cardiology, and other specialties to ensure optimal maternal and neonatal outcomes. Participate in high-risk obstetric clinics, labor ward coverage, and emergency consultations. Provide patient counseling regarding prenatal screening, genetic testing options, fetal anomalies, and delivery planning.Lead and participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, morbidity and mortality reviews, and accreditation processes. Supervise and mentor obstetrics and gynecology specialists, residents, and sonographers. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with Department of Health regulations and hospital policies. Contribute to teaching, research activities, and continuing medical education programs within the hospital.
Salary : Aed 90,000 per month plus family benefits (Salary mentioned in the advertisement is indicative. The final offer lies at the discretion of the client and will be made after completion of interviews).
