Key Responsibilities
Design and analyze pressure vessels, tanks, heat exchangers, and related fabricated equipment in accordance with ASME, API, and other relevant codes.
Prepare and review engineering drawings, fabrication details, BOMs, and technical documentation.
Perform mechanical calculations, including thickness design, nozzle loads, lifting/transport calculations, and stress analysis.
Collaborate with fabrication teams to ensure manufacturability, cost efficiency, and compliance with specifications.
Conduct material selection, welding procedure review, and inspection planning.
Support QA/QC during fabrication, hydrotesting, NDT, and final inspection.
Participate in client meetings, technical clarifications, and project reviews.
Ensure all engineering work meets safety, quality, and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
3–5 years of experience in pressure vessel design and fabrication.
Strong knowledge of:
ASME Section VIII Div. 1/2
API 650 / API 620
Welding processes (SMAW, GTAW, FCAW, SAW)
Material standards (ASTM, ASME).
Proficiency in engineering software such as PV Elite, Compress, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or ANSYS.
Experience working in fabrication shops or manufacturing environments.
Preference for Saudi candidates.
Current Job Location will be Jeddah and will be subject to change based on project requirement.
