Job Title: HSE Officer – Offshore / Marine Projects
Qualifications & Experience:
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Safety Management, or Environmental Studies
NEBOSH IGC or equivalent HSE certification is an advantage
3–6 years of HSE experience in Offshore, Marine, Oil & Gas, or related projects
Prior experience in offshore platforms, marine vessels, or port environments preferred
Requirements:
Strong knowledge of offshore and marine HSE regulations and safety standards
Familiarity with PTW systems, JSA, risk assessments, and emergency response procedures
Ability to conduct safety inspections, audits, and toolbox talks in offshore settings
Physically and medically fit for offshore deployment
Strong communication, coordination, and reporting skills
Immediate or short-notice availability preferred
Responsibilities:
Implement and monitor HSE policies and procedures for offshore and marine operations
Ensure compliance with client requirements, company standards, and Qatar Labour Law
Conduct routine safety inspections, audits, and hazard identification
Deliver toolbox talks, safety inductions, and HSE awareness sessions
Monitor contractor and workforce safety compliance
Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe acts/conditions
Maintain accurate HSE documentation, logs, and compliance reports
Coordinate with offshore management and marine teams to promote a strong safety culture
Contract, Compensation & Benefits
Contract Duration: 3–6 Months
Salary: QAR 6,500 – 7,500 per month
