We are hiring a highly experienced Lead Data Analyst to support advanced analytics and data-driven decision-making initiatives in Dubai, UAE. This role focuses on designing, optimizing, and delivering high-quality data solutions within the banking domain, covering retail, business, and wholesale banking products.

Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and optimize data solutions to support business and banking analytics needs
Perform advanced data analysis, reporting, and MIS development for banking stakeholders
Build and manage end-to-end data pipelines and analytics workflows
Work with structured and semi-structured data formats including JSON, Parquet, Avro, and XML
Develop and optimize queries using SQL and distributed processing frameworks
Create dashboards and visualizations using Power BI, Business Objects, Crystal Reports, or similar tools
Collaborate with engineering, reporting, and business teams to ensure data accuracy and relevance
Implement data governance, quality assurance, and compliance best practices
Support performance tuning, schema design, partitioning, and data modeling activities
Contribute to end-to-end data product deployment in cloud-based environments
Requirements & Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Certifications (Preferred):
Any Cloud Technology Certification (Azure, AWS, or equivalent)
Technical Skills:
Expert-level proficiency in SQL
Strong hands-on experience with Python (SAS / R / Spark as an advantage)
Deep understanding of Apache Spark and distributed data processing
Experience with Databricks for data processing and analysis
Strong knowledge of data warehousing and ETL concepts
Experience with cloud platforms (Azure / AWS), including storage, compute, networking, and data integration services
Domain Expertise:
Strong knowledge of Banking Retail, Business, and Wholesale products
Proven experience in banking data analytics
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
High attention to detail and commitment to data quality
Ability to manage priorities in a dynamic work environment
Experience:
Proven experience as a Data Analyst or Lead Data Analyst
Minimum 3 years of experience working with banking data
Hands-on experience with Databricks and SQL (mandatory)
Experience supporting reporting, analytics, and MIS teams
Demonstrated experience delivering end-to-end data products

AED 22,000 – AED 30,000 per month
