Key job responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management
- Provide strong leadership and direction to RME teams, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

- Technical Excellence & Engineering
- Apply advanced mechanical and electrical engineering expertise to drive operational reliability.
- Lead engineering overhauls, mechanical improvements and equipment optimization initiatives.
- Optimize maintenance strategies using reliability centered maintenance principles and data-driven approaches.
- Implement and leverage reliability tools and techniques including predictive and preventive maintenance methodologies.
Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement
- Demonstrate systematic approaches to complex problem-solving using root cause analysis and corrective action frameworks.
- Drive new initiatives with tenacity and resilience, ensuring successful implementation and sustainable results.
- Follow problems through to complete resolution with thorough documentation and close-out procedures.
- Champion innovation and forward-thinking solutions with a "can-do" attitude
Safety & Compliance
- Serve as a champion for safety, ensuring all operations meet or exceed safety standards and regulations.
- Maintain compliance with all applicable codes, standards and Amazon safety requirements.
- Foster a safety-first culture across all maintenance activities and team interactions.
Basic Qualifications
- 1+ years of using a computer maintenance management system in planning, scheduling and auditing overall facilities/maintenance activities experience
- 3+ years of working with computers and Microsoft Office products and applications experience
- High school or equivalent diploma
- Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
- Travel up to 15% of the time
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of maintenance planner/scheduler working within an industrial maintenance complex, manufacturing/distribution industries, or equivalent experience
- Experience in material handling systems (MHS) installation, operation and maintenance
