Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Reporting Lead to coordinate, develop, and deliver high-quality reports and presentations for a major Oil & Gas project in Qatar. The role will support the Project Management Team (PMT) by consolidating inputs from various stakeholders, analyzing project performance data, and presenting clear, concise insights to management and shareholders.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in project reporting, data analytics, and business intelligence tools, particularly within the Oil & Gas sector.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate input from multiple stakeholders to generate routine and ad-hoc project reports and presentations for internal and external audiences.
Analyze large project databases (progress, schedule, cost, risk, etc.) and summarize key messages and trends for senior management and shareholders.
Support the development of management presentations, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and alignment with project objectives.
Design, implement, and maintain standard reporting tools, templates, dashboards, and KPI reports.
Standardize reporting practices across EPC packages to improve communication, consistency, and execution efficiency.
Ensure timely, accurate, and high-quality reporting in line with project timelines and governance requirements.
Participate in governance and assurance activities (Gate Reviews, IPR, CER, CRR, audits, etc.) as the reporting subject matter expert (SME).
Provide expert guidance on planning, analysis, and reporting methodologies to the PMT.
Implement and manage a reporting calendar, ensuring consistent data cut-off dates and submission timelines are respected.
Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 8 years’ experience in business-related functions.
At least 4 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
Minimum 1 year in a supervisory or lead role, preferably in reporting, planning, or analytics.
Technical Skills:
Strong hands-on experience with Power BI for dashboarding and data visualization.
Working knowledge of SAP for data extraction and reporting.
Familiarity with Primavera for project schedule analysis and reporting.
Advanced data analytics and reporting skills, including handling complex datasets and deriving insights.
Soft Skills:
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
Strong communication and presentation abilities, with the capability to summarize complex information for senior stakeholders.
High attention to detail, accuracy, and consistency.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary project environment.
