Responsibilities:
Develop detailed electrical system designs including power distribution, lighting, ELV, earthing, and protection systems
Perform electrical load calculations, voltage drop calculations, and short-circuit analysis
Review, prepare, and finalize technical documentation such as drawings, BOM, specifications, and design reports
Ensure compliance with Qatar construction standards and international electrical codes (IEC, NEC, NFPA, etc.)
Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, mechanical teams, and project stakeholders
Review contractor submittals, shop drawings, and material approvals
Conduct site inspections and provide technical solutions to design issues
Support tendering activities, BOQs, cost estimation, and technical evaluations
Participate in client meetings and provide expert technical guidance

Requirements:
Grade A UPDA / MMUP Certification (mandatory)
Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical design and consultancy
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s is a plus)
Strong proficiency in electrical design software (ETAP, Dialux, AutoCAD, Revit, etc.)
In-depth knowledge of international electrical codes and Qatar construction standards
Excellent technical documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and coordination abilities
