Responsibilities
Provide overall leadership and management of a non-floating (fixed) offshore production platform.
Ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations in line with company procedures, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Lead and coordinate offshore teams, including operations, maintenance, marine, and support crews.
Oversee daily production activities, maintenance schedules, and integrity of equipment and systems.
Implement and monitor HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) policies and ensure a strong safety culture on the platform.
Coordinate start-up, shutdown, and commissioning activities for new or modified systems.
Manage emergency response plans and act as the on-site incident commander during emergencies or drills.
Liaise with onshore management, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and project execution.
Prepare and review daily/weekly reports, operational logs, and performance summaries.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production, minimize downtime, and enhance asset integrity.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering discipline (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Petroleum, or related field).
Minimum 12 years of experience in the oil & gas or petrochemical industry.
At least 5 years of experience working as an Offshore Installation Manager (OIM) – this is mandatory.
Proven experience managing non-floating (fixed) offshore platforms.
Strong operational background with hands-on experience in offshore production and maintenance activities.
Valid OPITO certification.
Start-up and commissioning experience is an added advantage.
Strong leadership, decision-making, and team management skills.
Excellent communication and coordination skills in a multicultural, multi-discipline environment.
