Job Purpose:
The Chef de Partie is responsible for managing a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring food quality, and leading a team to meet the restaurant’s standards for food preparation and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage a designated section in the kitchen (e.g., grill, pastry, etc.).
Prepare and cook dishes according to menu specifications.
Supervise and train junior kitchen staff.
Ensure kitchen hygiene and safety standards are maintained.
Manage section inventory and assist with ordering.
Ensure all dishes meet the restaurant’s quality and presentation standards.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role.
Culinary diploma preferred.
Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food preparation.
Ability to work under pressure and lead a team.
