Contracts Officer
Job Location : Kuwait
Key Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in contract administration or commercial management.
• Experience in Construction, EPC, Oil & Gas, Infrastructure, or Industrial projects is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of contract administration and commercial management.
• Good understanding of FIDIC Conditions of Contract.
• Experience in contract claims, variations, Extension of Time (EOT), and subcontract administration.
• Ability to interpret legal and commercial contract clauses.
• Strong documentation, reporting, and communication skills.
• Bilingual (Arabic & English).
• Experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle, etc.) is an advantage.
• Professional certifications such as CPCM, CCM, or equivalent are preferred
Key Responsibilities:
• Review, prepare, and administer contracts, subcontracts, and contractual amendments.
• Monitor contract compliance, obligations, milestones, and deliverables throughout the contract lifecycle.
• Manage contract variations, Extension of Time (EOT) submissions, and contractual claims.
• Identify contractual risks and recommend mitigation measures to protect the company's interests.
• Coordinate with project teams, procurement, finance, legal, clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers on contractual matters.
• Maintain accurate contract records, correspondence, and documentation.
• Support tendering activities by reviewing commercial and contractual terms.
• Prepare periodic reports on contract status, variations, claims, and key contractual issues.
