Job Location : Abu Dhabi, UAE

Responsibilities :

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for adult patients, including diagnostic evaluations and psychometric testing.
• Provide evidence-based individual and group psychotherapy for adults, including mood disorders, anxiety, trauma-related conditions, and behavioral health concerns.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment and care plans aligned with clinical and rehabilitation goals.
• Support adult patients within rehabilitation and long-term care settings, addressing psychological and emotional needs associated with complex medical conditions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (psychiatrists, physicians, nurses, and therapists) to ensure integrated, patient-centered care.
• Provide psychoeducation and counseling to patients and families to enhance coping strategies and treatment adherence.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in line with DOH and organizational standards.
• Participate in clinical audits, service development initiatives, and continuous professional development.
• Ensure adherence to professional ethics, patient confidentiality, and safeguarding standards.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology or a related field.
• Valid DOH license (or eligibility) to practice as a Clinical Psychologist in Abu Dhabi.
• Minimum 2-3 years of post-qualification experience working with adult patients in hospital, rehabilitation, or mental health settings.
• Experience in psychological assessment, psychotherapy, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
• Strong understanding of evidence-based therapeutic modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, etc.).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage patients and families effectively.
• Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered, ethical, and culturally sensitive care.
