Infrastructure Draftsman
Job Summary:
The Infrastructure Draftsman is responsible for preparing detailed technical drawings, plans, and layouts for infrastructure projects such as roads, utilities, drainage systems, water supply, sewerage, telecommunications, and other civil infrastructure works. The role supports engineers and project teams by producing accurate drafting documentation in compliance with project standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings for infrastructure and civil engineering projects.
Develop layouts, plans, sections, profiles, and as-built drawings based on engineering designs and specifications.
Coordinate with engineers, architects, surveyors, and project teams to ensure drawing accuracy and completeness.
Revise and update drawings according to project changes, site conditions, and client comments.
Ensure all drawings comply with project standards, local authority regulations, and drafting procedures.
Prepare utility coordination drawings for roads, drainage, water supply, sewerage, irrigation, and telecom systems.
Maintain organized records of drawings, revisions, and project documentation.
Assist in quantity take-offs and preparation of technical documentation when required.
Review and verify dimensions, calculations, and design details before submission.
Support site teams with shop drawings, as-built drawings, and construction documentation.
