Specialist Physician – Obstetrics & Gynecology (Gynecology Focus)

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Specialist Physician – Obstetrics & Gynecology (Gynecology Focus) to join a well-established healthcare facility. The role primarily focuses on gynecological care, including diagnosis, medical management, and minimally invasive surgical treatment of benign and complex gynecologic conditions.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical expertise, surgical competency, and adherence to evidence-based practice standards.
Core Clinical Responsibilities
• Diagnose and manage common and complex gynecological conditions, including:
Abnormal uterine bleeding
PCOS and endocrine gynecologic disorders
Endometriosis and adenomyosis
Ovarian cysts and pelvic masses
Uterine fibroids
Menstrual disorders and menopausal management
• Perform gynecologic surgical procedures such as:
Hysteroscopy
D&C (Dilatation and Curettage)
Laparoscopic procedures (if credentialed)
Myomectomy and benign gynecologic surgeries
• Conduct cervical cancer screening and colposcopy
• Provide family planning services and contraceptive counseling
• Manage early pregnancy complications (ECT, miscarriage)
• Collaborate with oncology, fertility, and radiology teams when required
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with DOH standards
• Participate in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications & Requirements
• MBBS or equivalent medical degree
• Recognized Specialization in Obstetrics & Gynecology
• DOH License or DOH Exam Passer (Abu Dhabi)
• Dataflow Completed
• Minimum 3–5 years of post-specialty clinical experience
• Proven competency in gynecologic surgical procedures
• Strong patient-centered communication skills
• Arabic speaker preferred
