Certification: Vendor certifications preferred (Cisco, Microsoft, GCP, F5)
The Network Security Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the company’s security architecture across corporate, data center, and cloud environments. The role involves defining robust security frameworks, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and enabling secure connectivity across on-premises and cloud platforms (Azure, GCP). The architect will lead security solution design, evaluate emerging technologies, and provide strategic guidance for network devices, firewalls, WAFs, VPNs, identity and access management, and other network security controls.
• Proven experience in network and security engineering, cloud networking (Azure, GCP), and operations oversight.
• Hands-on with firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco), F5 WAF, VPNs, F5 LTM/GTM, Cisco switches, WLC, and ISE.
• Strong understanding of hybrid networking, cloud security, routing, peering, NSG, ALB, and DDoS protection.
• Experience in RFP/RFI preparation, vendor evaluation, and stakeholder coordination.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and team guidance skills.
Technologies:
• F5 Technologies: LTM, GTM, WAF, iRules, and policy configurations for application delivery and security.
• Firewalls & Security: Palo Alto, Fortinet, VPNs (IPsec/SSL), IDS/IPS, SSL/TLS.
• Azure Networking & Security: VNets, NSG, ASG, ALB, DDoS, Sentinel, and other cloud network security solutions.
• GCP Networking: VPCs, Firewalls, Peering, Interconnect, hybrid connectivity.
• Network Infrastructure: Cisco switches, WLC, Cisco ISE, VLANs, VRFs, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VPN.
• Application Delivery & Load Balancing: F5 or other solutions for high availability and secure traffic.
