Job Position – IT Support Engineer & System Administrator

Seeking a skilled and proactive IT Support Engineer & System Administrator to manage, maintain, and support our organization’s IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to end-users, as well as overseeing the configuration, maintenance, and security of servers, networks, and related systems.
Responsibilities:
IT Support:
– Provide first and second-level support to users for hardware, software, and networking issues.
– Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripheral devices.
– Maintain inventory of IT equipment and manage asset tracking.
– Document issues, resolutions, and updates in a ticketing system.
– Provide remote and on-site support as needed.
System Administration:
– Manage Windows/Linux servers including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policies.
– Install, configure, and maintain system software and updates.
– Ensure data backups are properly conducted and restore processes are tested.
– Monitor system performance and implement tuning or upgrades as needed.
– Enforce security protocols including firewall configurations, antivirus updates, and access controls.
– Maintain and manage cloud services (e.g., Office 365, Azure, AWS, GCP).
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
– Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, RHCSA,CCNA, NCCMP etc.) are a plus.
– 2+ years of experience in IT support and system administration.
