Job Title:
Database Administrator (DBA)

Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
3–7 years of experience in database administration, performance tuning, and optimization
Hands-on experience with SQL Server, Azure SQL, and hybrid database environments
Experience in backup/recovery, high-availability solutions, and cloud database migration

Responsibilities:
Administer and optimize enterprise databases (SQL Server, Azure SQL, and hybrid)
Conduct advanced database performance tuning and query optimization
Implement and maintain robust backup, recovery, and high-availability strategies
Enforce database security policies and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
Support cloud database adoption, migration, and modernization initiatives
Collaborate with development and IT teams on database design, upgrades, and patches
Act as Release & Change Management Officer for database-related changes, ensuring minimal downtime and risk

Requirements:
Strong knowledge of database architecture, indexing, and query optimization
Experience with monitoring tools, automation, and scripting (T-SQL, PowerShell, etc.)
Familiarity with cloud database platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
Understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, ISO, SOC)
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple databases and projects simultaneously
