Gastroenterologist
Job Location : Saudi Arabia
Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate and manage diseases of the GI tract, liver, pancreas, and gallbladder (e.g., GERD, IBD, IBS, hepatitis, cirrhosis).
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures: Gastroscopy, Colonoscopy, ERCP, Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS), and capsule endoscopy.
• Perform interventions such as polypectomy, biopsy, stricture dilation, and banding of varices.
• Interpret findings from endoscopic and imaging studies.
• Develop long-term management plans for chronic GI conditions.
• Provide hepatology care for patients with liver diseases.
• Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards for GI cancers.
Qualifications & Requirements:
• Medical degree (MBBS) followed by a Post-Graduate degree (MD/DM/DNB in Gastroenterology).
• Valid SCFHS license.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of post-specialization experience.
• Extensive, documented hands-on experience in a wide range of endoscopic procedures.
• In-depth knowledge of hepatology is required..
