Structural Draughtsman
Job Location : Sharjah, United Arab Emirates
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare detailed structural drawings for various projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial structures
• Create and modify 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD and other relevant software
• Work closely with structural engineers and architects to ensure accuracy in designs
• Ensure that all drawings adhere to local regulations and codes
• Assist in preparing documentation for project submissions and approvals
• Review and adjust drawings based on feedback from the engineering team and project managers
• Maintain an organized library of drawings and revision histories
Qualifications :
• Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Structural Draftsman in an engineering consultancy in the UAE
• Proficient in AutoCAD and other structural design software
• Strong knowledge of UAE building codes and standards
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications :
• Experience with Revit or other 3D modeling tools is an advantage
• Knowledge of structural steel and reinforced concrete drafting
