Civil Draughtsman
Job Location : Doha, Qatar
Responsibilities :
• Collaborate with the engineering team to create detailed drawings, plans, and designs for roads and infrastructure projects.
• Utilize AutoCAD and other drafting software to produce accurate and precise technical drawings.
• Prepare quantity take-offs and material estimates based on project requirements.
• Assist in the preparation of project specifications and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with project stakeholders, including engineers, contractors, and architects, to ensure design integrity and project success.
• Conduct site visits as necessary to gather relevant data and information for drafting purposes.
• Keep up-to-date with industry standards, codes, and regulations related to roads and infrastructure design.
• Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards throughout the drafting process.
Requirements :
• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Civil Draughtsman, specifically in roads and infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other drafting software.
• Strong technical skills with the ability to interpret engineering designs and specifications.
• Solid understanding of construction methods and materials.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Knowledge of relevant industry codes, standards, and regulations.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites when required.
