Major Responsibilities:
Pre-Award:
Develops and issues contracts and other agreements as assigned by performing the following:
In accordance with procedures, forming and issuing tender packages, tracking and closing queries, receiving and evaluating proposals, and supporting recommendations for award by Customer.
Prepares and organizes meetings/workshops, such as bid clarification and pre-award meetings, for the purpose of ensuring complete understanding and agreement between Bechtel, the client, and contractor on all contractual matters.
Prepares contract documents for execution by Customer’s team.
Prepares and maintains control and status reporting documents.
Prepares pre-award reports, presentations and other programmatic documents in support of Expo’s vision.
Performs other pre-award duties as required.
Major Responsibilities:
Post-Award:
The implementation of the Contract & Commercial Management Procedures for the administration of the Contract.
The review of Contract general terms and conditions to identify and monitor areas of risk, ambiguities, conflicts or deviations from the scope of work and the actions required.
The development and management of appropriate mechanisms to monitor compliance with contract terms and conditions.
Identification and resolution of Contract claims as they develop, including engagement of legal support where necessary.
Obtaining all contract deliverables for timely work handover and close-out of contracts.
Prepares post-award reports, presentations and other programmatic documents in support of the project’s vision.
Performs other post-award duties as required.
Education and Experience
Requirements:
Degree in Engineering, Business, Law, Quantity Surveying or other relevant discipline.
Minimum 15 years of commercial experience.
Demonstrated experience carrying out contract formation and / or administration activities encompassing all the job description duties.
