Key Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate MEP drawings (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire fighting) based on engineering designs and project specifications.
Develop coordinated shop drawings and as-built drawings.
Interpret design inputs from engineers and convert them into detailed, workable drawings.
Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, and other services for clash detection and resolution.
Modify drawings as per site requirements and consultant feedback.
Maintain an organized archive of drawings and documents.
Ensure all drawings comply with project standards and codes (e.g., ASHRAE, NFPA, local codes).
Assist in quantity take-offs and material estimates when required.
Desired Skills & Experience:
Education: Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
Experience: 2–5 years experience as an MEP Draughtsman in construction or engineering firms.
Software Skills:
Proficient in AutoCAD (2D, 3D)
Revit MEP (preferred)
Navisworks (for coordination)
MS Office (basic level)
Knowledge:
Strong understanding of MEP systems and components.
Familiarity with international and local building codes and standards.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
