Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development and implementation of Safety & Fire design philosophies into engineering projects.
Ensure all designs meet relevant safety & fire standards (API, NFPA, OSHA, ISO 45001, ISO 14001) and client specifications.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to embed safety considerations throughout design, construction, and operational phases.
Prepare, review, and approve safety-related deliverables such as Safety Concept Reports, Fire Protection Layouts, Escape Route Diagrams, and Fire & Gas Detection System Designs.
Participate in design reviews (3D models, P&ID reviews) and provide safety & fire system input.
Review vendor documentation and engineering drawings for compliance with safety standards.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior safety engineers.
Engage with clients, authorities, and certifying agencies to ensure compliance and approvals.
Support incident investigations and conduct root cause analyses related to safety & fire systems.
Coordinate design & analysis activities related to construction projects in KSA.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Safety & Fire Engineering or related field.
4–5 years of experience in safety & fire engineering design, preferably in industrial or infrastructure sectors.
Strong knowledge of international safety & fire standards and regulations.
Proficiency in safety & fire design & analysis software.
Excellent communication skills and ability to influence cross-functional teams.
