The Air Quality O&M Technician will be responsible for the installation, calibration, preventive and corrective maintenance, and troubleshooting of air quality analyzers and associated systems. The technician will ensure accurate, reliable, and continuous operation of air monitoring stations and analyzers in compliance with regulatory and QA/QC standards.

Technical Skills

Electrical/Electronic Systems: Strong knowledge of electrical and electronic components, with skilled troubleshooting of boards, sensors, and power circuits.
Pneumatic Systems: Familiarity with pneumatic components such as sample flow systems, leak detection, and regulators.
Test Equipment Proficiency: Ability to operate and interpret readings from multimeters, flow calibrators, gas calibrators, pressure gauges, and gas cylinders/regulators.
Calibration & Maintenance: Performing routine calibration of gas analyzers (NOx, SO2, CO, O3) and particulate monitors (PM10, PM2.5); executing daily and weekly operational checks of analyzers and stations.
Emergency Response: Responding promptly to station failures, disconnects, and alarms to minimize downtime.
Environmental Monitoring: Monitoring and managing environmental conditions at stations, including temperature, humidity, power supply, and shelter systems.
Preventive & Corrective Maintenance: Conducting preventive tasks such as filter changes, lamp servicing, pump overhauls, leak checks, and flow calibrations; troubleshooting electrical, electronic, and pneumatic faults.
System Diagnostics: Diagnosing and resolving analyzer errors, alarms, and malfunctions using diagnostic software and tools.
OEM Procedures: Learning and applying OEM calibration, QA/QC, and maintenance procedures to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Standards Compliance: Ensuring analyzers meet international standards (EN, US EPA, QAL1) and project-specific requirements.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintaining detailed service logs, calibration records, and QA/QC documentation.
Remote Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Utilizing remote access tools such as ENVEA Connect, XR® software, and web servers for system monitoring, troubleshooting, and reporting.
Data Validation: Assisting in data validation and performance verification of analyzers to ensure data integrity and system reliability.
