The Senior Project Manager will lead and oversee complex projects from initiation through completion. This role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and stakeholder management to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop comprehensive project plans including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
Lead project teams and coordinate with cross-functional departments and external stakeholders.
Monitor project progress and performance, managing risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
Manage procurement, contracts, and vendor relationships related to project execution.
Prepare and present regular status reports and updates to senior management and clients.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives for project delivery processes.
Mentor and guide junior project managers and team members.
Resolve project issues and conflicts effectively to maintain project momentum.
Ensure documentation and project records are accurate and up to date.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
8+ years of project management experience, with a focus on large-scale projects.
PMP®, PRINCE2®, or equivalent project management certification preferred.
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar).
Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, timelines, and complex project deliverables.
Experience in stakeholder management and contract negotiations.
