We are looking for a proactive and organized Assistant Facility Manager to support the day-to-day operations and maintenance of our facility. This role involves coordinating with service providers, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and assisting in the smooth running of all facility-related activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Facility Manager in overseeing daily operations of the facility, including maintenance, cleaning, and security.
Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure timely execution of services.
Monitor facility equipment and infrastructure, reporting issues and ensuring timely repairs.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Maintain records related to maintenance schedules, inspections, and facility usage.
Support budgeting and cost control by tracking facility-related expenses.
Supervise support staff such as cleaners, technicians, and security personnel.
Assist in space planning, office moves, and resource allocation.
Handle administrative tasks including correspondence, documentation, and reporting.
Act as a point of contact for facility-related queries or emergencies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Facility Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Good knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.) is a plus.
Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with CAFM or facility management software is an advantage.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of local safety and compliance regulations.
