We are seeking a responsible and experienced Heavy Driver to operate heavy vehicles such as trucks, trailers, or tankers for the safe transportation of goods and materials. The ideal candidate must have a valid heavy vehicle driving license and a strong commitment to safety and punctuality.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and drive heavy vehicles such as trailers, trucks, tankers, or construction vehicles as assigned.
Transport goods/materials safely and securely to designated locations.
Follow assigned routes and schedules; adapt to changes when required.
Perform daily vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness (oil, tires, brakes, lights).
Report any mechanical issues or accidents immediately to the supervisor.
Ensure proper loading/unloading and secure placement of cargo.
Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and work hours.
Comply with traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
Assist with minor vehicle maintenance and coordinate with mechanics for major repairs.
Maintain cleanliness and good condition of the vehicle at all times.
Required Qualifications:
Valid Driving License (QDL)
Valid QID.
High school diploma or equivalent
Pass physical examination
Complete driver training program
