The Science Teacher is responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering engaging science lessons to students. This role aims to develop students’ understanding of scientific concepts, encourage critical thinking, and foster a passion for science through practical experiments and theoretical learning.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver science lessons in accordance with the curriculum standards
Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments
Conduct experiments and practical demonstrations to enhance learning
Assess and monitor student progress and provide feedback
Foster a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment
Encourage inquiry, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
Maintain classroom discipline and promote positive behavior
Collaborate with other teachers and departments on interdisciplinary projects
Participate in professional development and school activities
Communicate regularly with parents regarding student performance and behavior
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Science, Education, or a related field
Teaching certification or diploma
Experience teaching science to the relevant grade levels
Strong knowledge of scientific principles and laboratory practices
