The English Coordinator – Primary Section is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of the English curriculum for primary students. This role ensures high-quality English teaching standards, supports teachers with resources and training, and monitors students’ progress to enhance language proficiency and literacy skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and update the English curriculum for the primary section
Coordinate and support English teachers through lesson planning, resources, and professional development
Monitor and assess students’ progress in English language skills
Organize workshops, training sessions, and development programs for teachers
Collaborate with other academic coordinators to integrate English learning across subjects
Maintain and update teaching materials and resources
Conduct classroom observations and provide constructive feedback to teachers
Encourage innovative teaching methods to improve student engagement and learning outcomes
Communicate with parents regarding curriculum updates, student progress, and events
Ensure compliance with school policies and educational standards
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field
Teaching certification or diploma in education
Experience teaching English to primary school students
Previous experience in a coordination or leadership role preferred
Strong knowledge of English language teaching methodologies and curriculum development
