The Clinic Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily administrative and operational functions of a healthcare clinic. This role ensures the clinic runs efficiently and provides high-quality patient care by managing staff, maintaining regulatory compliance, overseeing finances, and enhancing patient experience. The Clinic Manager acts as a key liaison between medical staff, patients, and support services.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day operations of the clinic, including patient flow, appointment scheduling, and service delivery
Supervise and coordinate administrative and medical staff (receptionists, nurses, support staff, etc.)
Oversee billing, insurance claims, and revenue cycle management
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, safety standards, and clinical protocols
Monitor inventory and procurement of medical supplies and equipment
Handle patient inquiries, complaints, and feedback to improve service quality
Develop and implement operational policies and procedures
Assist with staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluation
Maintain accurate patient records and confidential information in accordance with privacy laws (e.g., HIPAA)
Coordinate with doctors and medical staff for smooth clinical operations
Prepare regular reports on clinic performance, patient volume, and budgets
Promote a culture of patient satisfaction, safety, and continuous improvement
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management, Business Administration, Nursing, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
3–5 years of experience in a healthcare or clinic management role
Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards
Experience with medical billing systems and EHR/EMR software
Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
