The QC Inspector is responsible for inspecting materials, products, and processes to ensure they meet specified quality standards and project requirements. The role involves conducting visual inspections, dimensional checks, and various tests to identify non-conformities, maintain quality records, and ensure compliance with industry standards and client specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect raw materials, in-process components, and finished products for compliance with standards and specifications.

Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections using appropriate tools and techniques.

Monitor production processes and ensure adherence to approved procedures and quality plans.

Prepare and maintain inspection reports, test records, and quality documentation.

Identify, document, and report non-conformities; follow up on corrective and preventive actions (NCR/CAPA).

Coordinate with production, engineering, and QA/QC teams to resolve quality issues.

Ensure compliance with company and client quality standards, as well as regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO, ASME, API, etc.).

Assist in internal and external audits.

Ensure calibration and proper use of inspection tools and equipment.

Participate in pre-inspection meetings, final inspections, and client walk-downs when required.

Qualifications & Skills:

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Civil / Electrical / Industrial Engineering or a relevant technical field.

2–5 years of experience in quality control or inspection in a relevant industry.

Knowledge of quality standards such as ISO 9001, ASME, API, AWS, or industry-specific codes.

Proficient in using measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.) and NDT tools (if applicable).

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Good understanding of drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.

Strong communication and reporting skills.

Basic computer skills (MS Office, quality management systems, etc.).
