We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Construction Trainer to develop and deliver hands-on and classroom-based training programs for construction staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction practices, safety regulations, and the ability to train workers at various skill levels. This role is critical in ensuring all construction team members are fully competent, safety-conscious, and compliant with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, plan, and deliver training programs related to construction skills, equipment usage, site safety, and company policies.
• Assess training needs by evaluating employee performance, compliance requirements, and industry changes.
• Deliver classroom, on-the-job (OJT), and virtual training sessions.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of construction codes, safety regulations (e.g., OSHA), and best practices.
• Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness, gathering feedback to improve programs.
• Certify employees in specific tasks or equipment operation as required (e.g., forklift, scaffolding, heavy machinery).
• Collaborate with site managers and supervisors to schedule and customize training programs.
• Maintain accurate training records and certifications.
• Ensure that all training materials meet legal, technical, and company standards.
• Promote a culture of safety, continuous learning, and professional development.

Qualifications:
• Proven experience in the construction industry (minimum 5 years preferred).
• Previous experience in training or mentoring roles is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of construction tools, techniques, equipment, and materials.
• Familiarity with relevant safety regulations (e.g., OSHA, local codes).
• Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt training styles to different learning needs and environments.
• Certifications such as OSHA Trainer, NCCER, or similar are a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or learning management systems (LMS) is a plus.
