The Senior Network Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting the organization's network infrastructure. They ensure the stability, security, and scalability of the network, providing expert technical support and guidance to the IT team.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, configure, and implement network solutions including LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks.
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation.
Install, configure, and maintain network hardware such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
Develop and enforce network security policies to protect company data and infrastructure.
Perform regular network audits and capacity planning.
Collaborate with other IT teams for system integration and upgrades.
Document network architecture, configurations, and procedures.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior network staff.
Stay updated on the latest networking technologies and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Professional certifications such as Cisco CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent.
Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, etc.).
Experience with network security practices and tools.
Familiarity with cloud networking solutions (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
