The IT Associate provides technical support and assistance to ensure the smooth operation of the organization's computer systems, networks, and software applications. They troubleshoot hardware and software issues, support users, and assist with IT projects to enhance operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide first-level support for hardware, software, and network issues faced by employees.
Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, peripherals, and software applications.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems promptly to minimize downtime.
Assist in managing user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
Conduct routine system updates, backups, and security checks.
Support IT asset management, including inventory and procurement.
Collaborate with the IT team on projects, upgrades, and system improvements.
Document technical procedures and user guides.
Educate users on best practices for IT security and usage.
Maintain confidentiality and security of organizational data.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Proven experience in IT support or a similar role.
Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
Familiarity with networking concepts, protocols, and hardware.
Experience with troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
