The Design District Décor LLC is actively hiring an experienced Safety Engineer to oversee and enforce health and safety protocols across our ongoing interior fit-out projects. We are committed to upholding the highest safety standards and seek a professional who can help ensure a secure and compliant work environment on all sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and enforce HSE (Health, Safety & Environmental) policies and systems
• Perform risk assessments and implement corrective and preventive safety measures
• Ensure full compliance with UAE labor laws and relevant safety regulations
• Conduct regular site inspections and internal audits to verify adherence to safety practices
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses; prepare detailed reports and root cause analysis
• Organize and lead safety training sessions and toolbox talks for staff and subcontractors
• Collaborate closely with project managers to embed safety at all stages of the project lifecycle

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a relevant discipline
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in safety roles within construction or interior fit-out projects
• NEBOSH IGC certification is mandatory; OSHA certification is considered an added advantage
• Deep understanding of UAE HSE regulations and global safety standards
• Strong leadership qualities with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
