We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Assistant Professor of Mathematics to join our faculty. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate courses, conduct research in their area of expertise, and contribute to academic and administrative activities within the department.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality lectures and tutorials in undergraduate and postgraduate mathematics courses.
Develop and update course curricula and instructional materials.
Supervise student projects, dissertations, and research activities.
Conduct original research, publish findings in reputable journals, and present at academic conferences.
Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum development, and academic planning.
Assist in student assessment and evaluation processes.
Engage in departmental service and community outreach activities.
Contribute to the academic reputation and growth of the department.
Qualifications:
Ph.D. in Mathematics or a closely related field from a recognized university.
Proven research potential with a record of publications.
Prior teaching experience at the university level is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students.
